Abrams Planetarium and The Museum of Natural History
On Tuesday my class went to Abrams Planetarium and the Museum of Natural history. But since we went to the Planetarium
first I’ll tell you about that first.
Well first when you walk into the Planetarium you see a giant globe. It spins so you can see all the places on it. You can also see the first mane to walk on the moon and you can buy different things at the front desk. You can also see the moon hanging on the ceiling. If you look at the floor it is sparkly with rainbow colors. After we looked around we got lined up against the wall and went into a tunnel. If someone had white on whatever was white glowed. Once you get in you get seated and the chairs are leaned back so you can see the stars. Then you learn about the planets, stars, and the moon. Then at the end you do something fun (well I thought it was fun) but I’m not going to tell you, you have to go there to find out!
Let me tell you about the Museum of Natural History. Well some of stuff is really big and some of it is really small. You can see things from long ago. One thing I really liked was this big butterfly wall. It had really big butterflies and super small butterflies. I also liked the head dress it was this crown with jewelry. It was really pretty.
I had a very fun time on our field trip. I hope other classes and people that go there have a good time. I know my class sure did!
